Health Insurance
SMCH Offers single and family health insurance coverage and pays for a portion of the premium for employees

Retirement
SMCH offers a retirement program to full time and part time employees who choose to participate. The hospital will match 100% of the employee contribution up to 6% of the employee’s annual salary.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
PTO hours provide the full time and part time employees with paid time off from your job for vacation, illness, observance of holidays, funeral leave and any other reasonable occasion.

Flexible Benefit Plan
With this plan, full time and part time employees are able to reduce the cost of child care, vision, dental and other health expenses by setting aside amounts for these expenses on a pre-tax basis.

Life Insurance
Employees who participate in the SMCH Retirement plan will receive life insurance equal to one times their annual salary.

Group Life Insurance
Full and part time employees are eligible to purchase optional group life insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse and children

Group Dental
Full and part time employees are eligible to purchase optional group dental insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse and children and the premium may qualify to be deducted on a pre-tax basis

Insurance Coverage through AFLAC
A variety of supplemental products are available on a payroll deduction basis through AFLAC Insurance. Some products may qualify to be deducted on a pre-tax basis.

Employee Recognition
All employees are recognized for their years of service at five intervals.

Continuing Education
Employees are encouraged and expected to advance in professional and technical knowledge in their field. An Employee Education Loan program is available to employees.
