StewartMemorialCommunityHospitalis actively recruiting a full time Operating Room Nurse for its state of the art surgical suite.  Surgical cases have increased between 5-10% each of the last 3 years.  Expanded lines include orthopaedics and plastic surgery.

Position requires:

• CurrentIowaRegistered Nurse License
• OR experience preferred but willing to train outstanding candidate with appropriate training background
• This position will also assist in pre-surgical area and PCCU as needed procedures
• Assist with additional supplies or instruments as required by the physician.
• ACLS certification required
• Organizational and people skills necessary

Stewart Memorial Hospital is seeking highly talented and motivated individuals to join our team as a Surgical Technologist.

The Surgical Technologist is responsible to work under the supervision of the surgeon and the O.R. Manager to facilitate the safe and effective performance of invasive surgical procedures, insure correct and properly functioning equipment for invasive surgical procedures and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Qualifications for the full time position include:

• Graduate of a Credentialed School of Surgical Technology
• Surgical Technologist Certification Preferred
• Experience with Orthopaedic and total joint procedures preferred but will train and upgrade skills of the right candidate

Stewart Memorial Hospital is seeking highly talented and motivated individuals to join our team as a House Supervisor.

The House Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the nursing care units including Med Surg, OB, ICU and Emergency Department for the 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a supervisory position:

• Providing leadership and mentoring to the staff
• Experience in Nursing Supervision or equivalent is required
• Promote on going staff development
• Promote and provide high quality nursing care that meets or exceeds customer expectation.
• Responsible for developing and reviewing shift staffing procedures.
• Iowa Nursing License
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Iowa R.N. License
• ACLS PALS and NRP certified
