HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED -- $75.00

This course is for anyone in the community with little or no medical training. This course is typically required for lifeguards, preschool teachers, foster parents, personal trainers, etc.  This course teaches you the basics for the most common first aid emergencies including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills like CPR and use an AED.

HeartSaver CPR AED -- $50.00

This course is for anyone in the community with little or no medical training that would like to be able to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until EMS arrives, perform CPR and use an AED. This course is the same as the HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED course but without the First Aid.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) -- $150.00

Throughout this course, you'll learn to assess, recognize and provide high-quality care to pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening medical emergencies, including shock, cardiac and respiratory events, as well as how to provide care after the return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during a resuscitation effort. You'll also challenge your critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and help improve your teamwork skills to provide better patient care. THIS IS A TWO-DAY COURSE.

Big Brother/Big Sister

Topics covered include: ways brother or sister can help mom and dad with the new baby (diaper changes, baths, etc.), how to hold your new baby, what to do when baby cries, how you can play with baby. Participants will also have snack time, read a book about newborns, design a craft for the new baby, and take a tour of the OB department.
