SMCH Fun Run Set for June 30^th inLakeCity

     We are celebrating our 50^th year atStewartMemorialCommunityHospital and the 28th Annual 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk. This Fun Run/Walk is sponsored byStewartMemorialCommunityHospital and will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012.  Race time will be 8:30 a.m. starting at the west side of the city square inLakeCity.  In the interest of safety, roller blades/roller skates will not be allowed.

     Pre-registration prior to Friday, May 25 – entry fee $10.00.  T-shirts will be given to all registered participants.   Registration after May 26 until 8:15 a.m. day of race – entry fee $15.00.   XXL t-shirts will be available – add $1.00 to entry fee.     Adult and Youth Size T-shirts will be ordered for late registrations and will not be given out on race day.  Bottled water will be furnished by SMCH following the race.

      Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers in the following classes:  wheelchair event; 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-65; 66 and over.  Men and women will be in separate classes.

Stewart Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual for our hospital staff pharmacist position. Stewart Memorial Hospitalis a 25-bed inpatient critical access hospital serving a 30,000 population area. In addition to medical and emergency services, Stewart Memorial offers services in chemotherapy, outpatient general and orthopaedic surgeries, home care/hospice, and cardiac rehab. The pharmacy department collaborates closely with 13 providers and professional nursing staff to provide excellent medical care to our patients. This position would report directly to the Pharmacy department leader and indirectly to the Pharmacy Director with additional support of six full time pharmacists in a retail setting. This staff level position includes a competitive salary and benefit package. Iowalicense or eligible required.  Experience is desired, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.  Progressive rural pharmacy setting
