Ambulance

Transportation services to and from Stewart Memorial Community Hospital are provided by a hospital directed and city owned ambulance service. The service is a provisional Paramedic level service that can give Advanced Life Support to the Lake City area and surrounding communities.

Stewart Memorial Community Hospital is also affiliated with Mercy One emergency medical helicopter. The Mercy One team consists of a registered nurse, a paramedic and a pilot each experienced in trauma, cardiac and critical care. A specialized neonatal team is also available when needed. Mercy One’s dedicated full and part-time staff of 22 has more than 300 years of professional experience.
