Physical Therapy

The physical therapy departments are staffed with 5 full time PTs and 1 full time PTA: Bob Dickkut, Bob Arnold, Jill Birks, Ann Riat, Kay Crabb, Jeannie Capron and part time Pearl Wuebker. They see patients referred by physicians, physician assistants and family nurse practitioners. Bob Arnold is one of a few physical therapists in Iowa who is trained to perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction testing. Jill Birks and Pearl Wuebker are certified athletic trainers. Ann Riat and Pearl Wuebker are trained in treating incontinence with physical therapy and have special equipment to assist you with the retraining muscles.

A large percentage of our patients have problems with their necks, backs, fractures, sprains, strains, tendonitis, and bursitis. Services include wound care, care for strokes, the fitting of many types of back braces, cardiac rehab for inpatients, and various other conditions. We treat inpatients, outpatients, and two Area Home Health agencies opportunity living and staff an outpatient clinic at McCrary-Rost Clinic, Rockwell City.
