Chemotherapy

This is an outpatient program for the administration of chemotherapy under the direction of your physician. A registered nurse provides assessment and administration of the medications coordinating your care with your oncologist. Stewart Memorial Community Hospital is able to provide this care close to home in a home-like atmosphere. The chemotherapy room, which was recently renovated, has four reclining chairs where patients can sit for their treatments while watching television, reading, visiting with other patients, or looking out large, scenic windows.
