A native of the Wall Lake area, Amanda brings years of experience in rural healthcare, including operating her own private primary care clinic. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and holds certifications in both family and adult-gerontology primary care. Amanda has clinical interests in family medicine, women’s health, hormones, disease prevention, immunology, and rheumatology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children on their acreage, boating, biking, cooking, and staying active.

Emily Sliefert

Emily Sliefert, MA, LMHC

Mental Health Counseling

Emily Sliefert, MA, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

She has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Attachment Therapy (PACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Theraplay. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and building coping skills.

Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, exercising, spending time with family, gardening, and traveling.

Anne Souder is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, PMH-C) with nearly 10 years of experience in the role of therapist and 15 plus years serving children, families and adults in a variety of settings. Anne has experience supporting individuals with a variety of life’s challenges- including specialized child/adolescent interventions, trauma intervention/recovery, grief work, family systems challenges, and perinatal mental health disorders.  Specialty services include Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Theraplay, Perinatal Mental Health Disorders treatment (PMH-C), substance affected in utero (PACT), and Christian faith-based interventions. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Jess Drees sees patients of all ages at her practice at the Lake View Clinic. She has a passion for preventative health care, women’s screening, and preconception counseling. Having grown up in Auburn, her health care career took root with a CNA position here at Stewart Memorial. After earning her RN in 2010, she gained experience in a variety of settings, including med-surg, emergency, and obstetrics. Jess and her husband, Justin, have three children: Knox, Kipp, and Kwincy. Together, they enjoy attending sporting events, being outdoors, and traveling. “When you walk through our doors, you aren’t another number,” Jess says, “You’ll receive timely, exceptional, individualized care at every visit.”

Before she earned her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certificate from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, she gained experience as a registered nurse in critical and intensive care units, as well as emergency care.
