Diabetes Prevention Education Hosted by Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City

Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) is hosting a free seminar on Wednesday, February 12, designed to educate individuals concerned about prediabetes. The seminar will provide valuable information on how to prevent diabetes through healthy eating, regular exercise, and routine checkups.

The seminar will be held at the SMCH Willis Conference Center from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Attendees will gain practical knowledge on improving their overall health and well-being, achieving better lab results and weight management, and implementing strategies to prevent the onset of diabetes.

Leading the seminar will be Shelly Hammen, RN, Sarah Mowrey, RN, and Casey Wetter, RD, members of the SMCH Diabetes Education Team. Their expertise will provide attendees with valuable insights and guidance.
