Stewart Memorial Community Hospital Announces, "Strong at Home" Lunch & Learn an Installment of the No Place Like Home Series, Empowering Seniors to Live Independently
Stewart Memorial Community Hospital is excited to present the first session of its No Place Like Home series, a Lunch & Learn event designed to empower seniors to live independently and safely in their own homes. The session, titled "Strong at Home," will be presented by Marie Drey, OTR/L, and Kay Crabb, PT, MSPT, who will share valuable insights on improving strength, mobility, and balance for seniors at home.
The event will take place on February 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Stewart Memorial Community Hospital Conference Center. For just a $10 entry fee, guests will enjoy a delicious meal featuring roast beef, mashed potatoes, cascade blend vegetables, and a strawberry pretzel dessert, all complemented by refreshing strawberry-infused water.
This Lunch & Learn is designed for seniors, caregivers, and anyone interested in practical strategies for maintaining independence and safety at home. Marie Drey and Kay Crabb will provide expert advice on exercises, home modifications, and other tips to help participants stay active and healthy in their daily lives.
