Emily Sliefert, MA, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals of all ages. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.
She has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Attachment Therapy (PACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Theraplay. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and building coping skills.
Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, exercising, spending time with family, gardening, and traveling.
