Robert Peterson, RT(R)(MR)(ARRT)

Radiology

Robert Peterson brings more than 10 years of medical imaging experience to Stewart Memorial, with a primary background in MRI. A native of the Lake View area, he earned his education from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines and began his career at MercyOne Medical Center in downtown Des Moines, where he worked as both an X-ray technologist and MRI technologist.

As Radiology Director, Robert is committed to providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring patients receive compassionate, efficient care throughout their experience.

Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, Liz Peterson, PA-C, their three sons, Louie, Milo, and Graham, and their dog, Millie. Their family stays active through golf, fishing, and spending time at Black Hawk Lake. They also enjoy being involved in the local community and can often be found in Ames on fall Saturdays cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
