Important Notice: Medicare Scam Calls Using Our Phone Number
We’ve been made aware that some patients have received scam phone calls appearing to come from Stewart Memorial Community Hospital’s phone number (712-464-7907). These calls are not from our team.
Unfortunately, scammers can “spoof” phone numbers to make it look like they are calling from a trusted source—even when they are not.
Here’s what you need to know:
- We will never call you out of the blue to ask for your Medicare number, Social Security number, or banking information.
- If we do contact you regarding your Medicare coverage, it will be in connection with a specific appointment, service, or request you’ve made.
- If you receive a suspicious call that claims to be from Stewart Memorial, hang up and call us directly at 712-464-7907 to verify the call.
