Skilled Care
Our skilled care services provide short-term, comprehensive medical and rehabilitative support for patients who need continued care following hospitalization, surgery, or illness. Our dedicated team works closely with patients, families, and physicians to ensure a smooth transition, promote recovery, and help you return to your highest level of independence.
Your length of stay will depend on your progress and your health insurance plan. If you are receiving skilled therapies such as physical, occupational, or speech therapy, active participation in your care plan is required to maintain insurance coverage.
If you are receiving intravenous therapy, your stay will be determined by your medical provider and pharmacist. A provider will visit you two to three times per week and as needed based on your condition. Our interdisciplinary team meets Monday through Friday to review your progress, update your plan of care, and discuss any changes with you.
Is Skilled Care Covered by My Insurance?
Coverage for skilled care varies by insurance carrier and policy. Our staff will assist you in determining whether your current insurance plan includes skilled care benefits and guide you through the verification process. identifies our ability to provide trauma services and arrange transport of patients to a hospital equipped to provide specialized services when needed.
