FUNCTIONAL DRY NEEDLING
Your therapist inserts a needle that does not have medication (hence, dry) into the muscle to release or inactivate trigger points. Needling the trigger point can relieve pain or improve range of motion, particularly for pain located deep in a muscle.
GRASTON TECHNIQUE
This is a tool-assisted soft tissue treatment that can speed up the healing process and reduce pain.
MYOKINESTHETIC SYSTEM
Treatment approach that utilizes muscle stretching and movements to rebalance our neuromuscular systems to improve posture, headaches, movement and reduce pain.

Synergy System by Prometheus
Engaging the target muscles is key for successful pelvic floor physical therapy. The Synergy System is a biofeedback-assisted system that measures the activation of your muscles and provides visual feedback during pelvic floor treatment which makes muscle activation easier and more effective.

Radial Pulse Therapy by Zimmer
Radial pulse therapy is changing the game in treatment of soft tissue pain and injuries. Radial pulse therapy delivers kinetic energy into your body’s soft tissue to facilitate healing blood flow and/or break up scar tissue and calcium deposits based on the level of energy settings. Radial pulse therapy as part of your therapy program is producing excellent and outcomes in treatment of plantar fasciitis, shin splints, tendonitis of Achilles, elbow, knee and/or shoulder and many other soft tissue causes of pain and activity limitations. Radial Pulse is also an excellent option for those nagging soft tissue pain/injuries that have not responded well to traditional treatments.

Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
FEES is a portable procedure that utilizes the passage of an endoscope transnasally to visually evaluate the pharynx, and larynx/voice folds. This procedure is completed by Speech Language Pathologists with advanced training in this technique. FEES can be completed in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings. FEES has become popular as it requires no radiation exposure and is portable, unlike modified barium studies. FEES is used for diagnostic purposes but also provides specificity for SLPs to target treatments and track progress.
There are many conditions that indicate the need for FEES evaluation including:
- Symptoms of dysphagia, such as pain or difficulty swallowing, or a feeling of food getting stuck in your throat
- A medical condition that increases the risk of dysphagia, such as a stroke, neurological conditions, or genetic syndrome
- A need to assess the effectiveness of speech therapy treatments
- A need to assess vocal fold dynamics or the laryngeal adductor reflex
- A need to visualize the larynx for signs of trauma or neurological damage
- A need to assess fatigue or swallowing status over a meal
- Those who cannot be exposed to radiation with any of the above conditions (pregnant women)
- Patients unable to tolerate contrast medium/barium
- Patients unable to leave bedside who need pharynx/larynx evaluation
