Surgery
At Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, the Surgery Department utilizes the latest state of the art equipment and instrumentation to provide our patients with the best surgical experience possible. Our outpatient surgery center is connected to the hospital with its own private entrance on the northwest corner just past the emergency room. There you are welcomed into a modern, convenient facility with privacy and comfort as added conveniences. Our 2 operating rooms, endoscopy suite, and private outpatient bays are designed for patient comfort and maximum efficiency.
Above and beyond the technology and modern day conveniences, Stewart Memorial has an exceptional nursing and supportive staff who compliment the surgeons and anesthetists in providing excellent care. Our goal is to assure each patient has a seamless and comfortable transition throughout their entire surgical stay from admit to discharge.
Surgery Center
The surgery center is staffed for surgery five days a week for elective procedures with emergency coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Includes Same-Day Surgery, Central Sterilizing, and Post-Op Recovery Unit.
