Mandy Smouse, RN, joined Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in February 2020 as a Night House Supervisor. In 2021, she transitioned into her current role as a Clinical Health Coach, where she provides care management services to patients with chronic health conditions. Mandy is passionate about supporting patients on their journey to better health through education, empowerment, and compassionate care. Outside of work, Mandy enjoys camping and kayaking with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Molly.

Darci Peterson, RN, Clinical Health Coach

Care Management

Darci Peterson, RN, serves as the Director of Care Coordination and EPIC Informaticist at Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics. With over 26 years of nursing experience—12 of those at Stewart Memorial—Darci brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role. Before transitioning into care coordination and health informatics, Darci served as the Hospice Supervisor, where she developed a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She is passionate about mental health advocacy and is especially driven to support patients from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, understanding firsthand the importance of addressing the needs of our most vulnerable populations. Outside of work, Darci enjoys attending her children’s sporting events with her husband and spending time with friends and family.
