Occupational Therapy

Renee Russell, OTR/L is a compassionate occupational therapist who enjoys working with a wide variety of populations and diagnoses. She earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Northwestern College in 2018 and completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Minnesota Rochester in 2020. Renee has experience in skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient care, where she continues to build her expertise and provide meaningful support to patients.

Outside of her professional role, Renee enjoys reading, spending time at the lake, attending sporting events, and being with her family, friends, and their chocolate lab, Luna. She is also active in her community as a volunteer EMT for the Fonda Ambulance and an active member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Fonda.

Hannah Halbur, PT, DPT 

Physical Therapy

Hannah Halbur is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for helping individuals regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Briar Cliff University in 2021 and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University in 2025. Hannah’s professional interests include orthopedics, vestibular therapy, and working with pediatric patients.

Outside of her professional role, Hannah enjoys biking, going for walks, boating, and spending time with her family and friends. She is actively involved in her community as a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wall Lake, where she values faith and connection.

Speech & Language Therapy

Emma Borkowski is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2021, both from the University of Northern Iowa.

Emma has a strong passion for working with both children and adults across a variety of communication and swallowing needs. Her professional interests include early intervention and pediatric therapy, fluency disorders, and cognitive-communication therapy. She also has specialized training in the management of dysphagia, dysphonia, and communication challenges associated with head and neck cancer and degenerative diseases.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys walking, reading, baking, and watching her favorite TV show, Friends. She values spending time with family and friends and staying active in her local community.

Emma is a member of both the Iowa Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Courtney Schreck

Courtney Schreck, MA, CCC-SLP

Speech & Language Therapy

Courtney Schreck is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders (2014), both from the University of Northern Iowa. She is passionate about helping individuals of all ages improve their communication and swallowing abilities.

Courtney’s professional interests include cognitive intervention, pediatric therapy, and the treatment of swallowing disorders, including those related to degenerative diseases. She is a certified McNeil Dysphagia Treatment Program (MDTP) therapist and is trained in Parkinson’s-specific voice therapy techniques.

Outside of her clinical work, Courtney enjoys kayaking, biking, and walking her dog, Ryder. She also loves boating on Black Hawk Lake and spending quality time with her friends and family.

She is an active member of the Iowa Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Courtney also serves on the Stewart Memorial Rewards & Recognition Committee, contributing to the enhancement of workplace culture and staff appreciation.

Derrick Henkenius is a skilled and enthusiastic physical therapist who is passionate about helping patients recover, perform, and thrive. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (May 2020) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (December 2021) from St. Ambrose University. Derrick’s clinical interests include orthopedics, therapeutic exercise, sports injury recovery and performance, pain neuroscience education, and improving balance and mobility for patients of all ages.

Outside of the clinic, Derrick enjoys staying active through golfing, biking, running, and weightlifting. He values quality time with his family and friends and is an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Occupational Therapy

Marie Drey is a compassionate and skilled occupational therapist with a strong focus on personalized care. She earned both her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (2018) and Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies (2017) from the College of Saint Mary. Marie has experience working with patients of all ages, with professional interests in geriatrics, hand injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, home adaptations, and home-based therapy. She also enjoys working with pediatric patients, especially in the areas of sensory integration and fine motor coordination.

Outside of her professional role, Marie enjoys reading, biking, boating, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and their dog, Mac. She is actively involved in her community as the Sac County Fair Queen Coordinator, a member of the Sac County 4-H Endowment Committee, and a dedicated volunteer at Sac City Catholic Church. Marie is also a proud member of both the Iowa Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, continually staying engaged in her field and community.
