Jaclyn Warehime, PT, DPT

Physical Therapy

Jaclyn Warehime is a dedicated physical therapist who takes a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to care, helping individuals return to the activities they love. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in 2020 and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wartburg College in 2017. Jaclyn has a special interest in therapeutic exercise, pain neuroscience education, orthopedic and sports-related injuries, and running-specific rehabilitation, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique goals of her patients.

Outside of the clinic, Jaclyn enjoys an active lifestyle filled with running, biking, hiking, camping, and traveling. She also loves cooking and spending time outdoors. Jaclyn is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves her community as the Injury Clinic Therapist for South Central Calhoun Middle School.

Luke Larson is an experienced physical therapist who combines clinical skill with a passion for helping patients reach their fullest potential. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa. Luke’s specialties include treating dizziness and vertigo, work-related injuries, and sports performance, with advanced training in functional dry needling, Graston technique, manual therapy including joint manipulation, and neuropain science. His focus on orthopedic care and movement-based recovery allows him to tailor treatments to each patient’s unique goals.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys golfing, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends. He’s active in the community as a safety educator for Calhoun County workers, the Injury Clinic Therapist for South Central Calhoun High School, Occupational Medicine Team Lead, and a member of the Central Church Connect Team.

Derrick Henkenius is a skilled and enthusiastic physical therapist who is passionate about helping patients recover, perform, and thrive. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (May 2020) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (December 2021) from St. Ambrose University. Derrick’s clinical interests include orthopedics, therapeutic exercise, sports injury recovery and performance, pain neuroscience education, and improving balance and mobility for patients of all ages.

Outside of the clinic, Derrick enjoys staying active through golfing, biking, running, and weightlifting. He values quality time with his family and friends and is an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Laura Johnson is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for helping patients move and feel better through specialized, evidence-based care. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Wartburg College. Laura is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist with advanced training in Graston technique, craniosacral therapy, manual therapy, muscle energy and myofascial release techniques, and pain neuroscience. Her clinical interests focus on orthopedics and addressing complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys running, kayaking, Pure Barre workouts, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s also actively involved in her community as a member of both the Iowa and American Physical Therapy Associations and serves on the SMCH Western Days Fun Run Organizing Committee.

Physical Therapist Kay Crabb, PT, MSPT, sees patients at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital Rehabilitation in Lake City. She earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Iowa State University. Kay has specialized training in aquatic therapy, craniosacral therapy, the Graston technique, hippotherapy, and functional aging exercise. Her professional interests include balance and dizziness treatment, orthopedic care, musculoskeletal pain, and promoting wellness through corporate health programs and senior wellness programs. She developed the Senior Strong Strength and Balance class offered here at t Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. She is an avid cyclist and long-time RAGBRAI participant, Kay also enjoys cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones with her husband and two sons.

Branden Roberts, PT, DPT is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University, where he was honored as class valedictorian.

Branden has specialized training in Functional Dry Needling, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, the Graston Technique, and a variety of manual therapy approaches. His professional interests include sports medicine, orthopedics, and the treatment of neurological diseases and pathologies.

Outside of work, Branden enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, exercising, and both playing and watching sports. He is also active in professional advocacy and has served as a delegate for the Iowa Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for many years, helping to advance the profession at the state and national levels.

Ann Riat, PT, MSPT, is a dedicated physical therapist and pelvic health specialist at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, bringing over 20 years of experience in treating male and female urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, as well as pregnancy and postpartum conditions. She earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa in 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Foods & Nutrition from Kansas State University, obtained in 1997. Ann’s professional interests include orthopedics, pelvic health—such as bowel disorders, incontinence, and pain management—as well as pre- and post-natal therapy. She is also trained in the Graston technique. Outside of work, Ann enjoys cooking, running, and snow skiing, and cherishes time spent with her husband and their three daughters. She is actively involved in her community and serves on the Stewart Memorial Western Days Fun Run Organizing Committee, and is an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
