Branden Roberts, PT, DPT

Director of Rehab Services

Branden Roberts, PT, DPT is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University, where he was honored as class valedictorian.

Branden has specialized training in Functional Dry Needling, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, the Graston Technique, and a variety of manual therapy approaches. His professional interests include sports medicine, orthopedics, and the treatment of neurological diseases and pathologies.

Outside of work, Branden enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, exercising, and both playing and watching sports. He is also active in professional advocacy and has served as a delegate for the Iowa Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for many years, helping to advance the profession at the state and national levels.

Social worker Michelle Shaver works with patients at Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics to connect them with needed services and support. After graduating from UNI, Michelle earned her MSW from Augsburg College. She has previously worked in nursing homes and community mental health centers.

Casey Wetter, RD

Diabetes Education, Nutrition Services

Casey Wetter has been a practicing Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for more than 20 years. After graduating from Iowa State University, she worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, where she specialized in pediatric and bariatric nutrition. At Stewart Memorial, Casey provides individualized nutrition counseling on a variety of topics and works closely with the diabetes education and cardiopulmonary departments. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cheering for Iowa State.
