Kendra Tiefenthaler earned both her LPN and RN licenses from Iowa Central Community College. In 2019, she chose to further her education by completing a BSN at Capella University. With over ten years of nursing experience, she has worked in correctional healthcare, home health, hospice, and currently serves as a Clinical Coordinator specializing in wound care.
Josh Smith, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon with Stewart Memorial. After graduating from Des Moines University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine with honors, he completed his residency at Des Moines General Hospital. There, he was appointed Chief Surgery Resident from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Smith is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association. When he’s not spending time with his five children, Dr. Smith enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including skiing, fishing, and scuba diving.
