While a patient at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, your medication needs will be supplied by the hospital pharmacy managed by Marti Huser, RPh. Marti works closely with the medical staff and nursing service to meet all inpatient needs. In addition to inpatient pharmacy services, the hospital pharmacy provides the expertise and medications for chemotherapy and assists home care, hospice, and cardiac rehab with drug reviews. Technician Deb Daniel, CPhT, assists Marti in the department.

Stewart Memorial Community Hospital also provides retail pharmacy services at four locations to serve you. Community Pharmacies in Lake City, Gowrie, Lake View and Rockwell City provide friendly, courteous and professional service to meet your prescription drug needs. Expert patient counseling is provided with new prescriptions and current medication therapy. They also offer free delivery and mail service, honor most insurance cards, keep records for tax and insurance purposes and offer emergency services.

All retail pharmacies have a wide selection of over-the-counter products. Recent additions to the line-up include nutrition bars and shakes for weight management and special supplements for bone health including strontium, sublingual Vitamin D, magnesium, boron, and calcium. Kristi Jacobson, PharmD is the pharmacy manager at the Community Pharmacy in Lake City. If you make an appointment, Kristi would be glad to sit down with you and discuss your medications. The Lake City site is open from 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling 712-464-7281. Assisting Kristi are pharmacy technicians Patti Daisy, CPhT, and Erin Eischeid.

Rhonda Gustafson, RPh and Tom Custer, RPh manage the Community Pharmacy in Gowrie. The Gowrie site is open from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling 515-352-3876. Assisting the pharmacists are technicians Laurie Telleen, CPhT, Deb Hildreth, CPhT, and Carmen Slininger.

Bryan Thompson, RPh manages the Community Pharmacy in Lake View. The Lake View site is open from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling 712-657-8554. Assisting Bryan are technicians Crissy Boeckman, CPhT, Cathy Aschinger, CPhT, and Gail Eischeid.

Kim Kramer, RPh manages the Community Pharmacy in Rockwell City. The Rockwell City site is open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling 712-297-7337. Technicians Kathy Hammen, CPhT and Connie Picht, CPhT assist Kim in the preparation of your prescription needs. Kap Linder, RPh provides Monday coverage and when needed to assure that your pharmacy needs are met.
