Katie Pudenz, RN, Earns Honorable DAISY Award for Nurses

Katie Pudenz, RN, recently accepted the DAISY Award for Nurses. A patient of Katie's patients was so impressed with the care she received that she submitted a nomination. Here's what she said:

"Katie was the calm in our storm, holding space and my emotions I didn’t even realize I had or that I needed. For honesty, in the face of uncertainty, dedication and care beyond measures. She was the shining light I needed on our dark and scariest road… labor. She took extra time, answering all our questions for the millionth time, providing me care and comfort, guiding us down our path while also respecting our wishes. After birth she also spent extra time cleaning me and our room up – washing away again, those darker, scarier times and filling it with light, love, and calmness."
