Nutrition Services Recognized for Incredible Teamwork

The SMCH Nutrition Services Team was recently nominated by our Senior Team Collaborators for the Team Award. Here's what they had to say: 

"The Senior Team Collaborators would like to recognize the Kitchen for the teamwork award. We feel that this is long overdue, but the Kitchen is a very hard-working department here at SMCH. Each member provides service with a smile, and when you ask for something, you shall receive! They took each barrier with the construction of their area in stride and made sure everything was running smoothly. We never go hungry around here, and they make sure we are well taken care of.

One thing that is very noticeable by multiple team members is that staff remember personal preferences. For example, knowing how we prefer our bacon, and letting us know when our favorite dessert or salad is available.

Additionally, Over the course of the last few months the STC has opened a suggestion box, and employees here really care about our food. Several suggestions were made and directed towards the kitchen. Casey and the staff have been very receptive to all suggestions. One person requested that display items return, and they were already in the process of bringing them back!

Food is our comfort and our fuel, the Kitchen staff at SMCH deserves a huge shout out and THANK YOU!"
